Day #10 of the 12 Days of Christmas Cookies - Dog Cookies

We could not forget our best buds in our 12 days of Christmas Cookies! Here is the perfect Christmas treat for our favourite little guys and all their friends too! This recipe makes over 24 cookies so it is perfect for gifting to all the little puppies in your life!

Ingredients:

• 2/3 cup pumpkin puree, NOT pumpkin pie filling

• 2 large eggs

• 1/4 cup peanut butter

• 3 cups whole wheat or spelt flour

Directions:

• Preheat oven to 350 and line baking sheet with parchment paper

• Mix all ingredients together in the bowl of a stand mixer, adding an additional 1/4 cup flour if too sticky.

• On a lightly floured surface roll out dough and cut with bone shaped cookie cutters. Repeat with scrapes over and over again till all dough is used up.

• Bake for 20-25 minutes or till the edges are golden.

• Allow to cool completly then wrap for all the little puppies!
